Sometimes life really sucks.
Well, yea, shit happens. All. The. Time.
Random shit.
Is this fate or destiny?
I don’t know. I don’t think I believe in either one.
But you know what? If it didn’t suck, life would not be interesting.
I’ve experienced pure boredom before so I know.
I know how it feels to be so bored you’d rather jump off the Brooklyn bridge just to feel like you’re still alive.
So I’m going to stop complaining.
Life is awesome.
Fuck, yea, I love drama.

Chillin'

It’s 3 AM. And I just bought Beachbody’s TurboJam workout DVD off amazon.

I really need to stop spending money.

So, I will start volunteering at Gouverneur Health Services down at East Broadway, New York on Tuesday. I’m very, very excited for this. =) Surprisingly enough, I found out my employer actually goes to Hunter College and was in my chemistry and physics class! How funny is that! Oh, which by the way, I did not do so good in physics…but enough about that. My OCD shift-leader got married! I’m so happy for him. He came back to work last week and I must admit, his marriage has calmed him down. He’s less prone to lash out at customers or start cursing a lot. I’m glad he’s turned down at notch, but at the same time I kinda miss his old self. But oh wells, it’s a good change and I’m proud of him for that.

And before I go, I’d like to add, I’ve officially joined the ‘twilight’ saga bandwagon. :3

What's going on so far.

To start things off, the apartment hunting hasn’t been successful in the least bit. I talked about the really nice studio that my roommate, Samantha, and I found on Lexington Avenue. Well, that didn’t go well. The owner of the studio didn’t allow more than one person to rent it. Here are some pictures I took of it:

The owner seemed to really hate how we were inspecting it so much - we took awhile inside the studio - that she kicked us out of the room. Even so, I still told her I was very interested in getting the studio. Just as she was about to give me her cellphone number, she asks me if I plan to be living with anyone else or if I was by myself. I told her that I would be having a roommate. With a click of her pen, she stopped writing and looks up at me with a smirk. She shakes her head and goes, “I’m sorry but I can’t let more than one person have this. There is no way we can have two people share this studio.” At this minute, I was thinking, “bitch. I know what you are really thinking. You think that I am an irresponsible teenager who won’t be able to keep up with the rent.” But whatever, I didn’t let her get to me, I just nodded and walked away.

Then, as for my second apartment hunt, the apartment looked really nice, however, I didn’t really like the neighborhood much. It was located on 103rd street and close to the six train, but then my mother mentioned how it would be dangerous for two girls to walk back home during the night. And I agreed, I would be going home late every night. Especially since I’ll be having night classes. So me and my roomie dismissed the apartment. I didn’t take any pictures of the place, it was dark in the room and renovations were going on.

So far, we’ve been calling around for other advertisements on craigslist, and haven’t gotten too far. I never knew trying to find an apartment in New York was going to be so hard! I just hope we get one before the end of August. >.<

My birthday was July 27th and so I celebrated it by going to see Dark Knight on IMAX. I went with two of my friends - Patty and Alex. I told Patty last-minute that it was actually my b-day and it was so nice of her to give me $20 and a bag of three musketeers (my favorite chocolate candy). Alex was going to leave for California in two days, so I thought it would be nice to invite him. I’ve known him since middle school, so I’m going to miss him a lot. D: Overall, it was a great reunion for me, even though Patty and Alex didn’t know each other. And wow. This movie is incredible. Seriously, if you haven’t seen this yet, go see it now! Heath Ledger is absolutely mind-blowing. And the IMAX totally made everything 10x better - so if you can get to an IMAX, I suggest you go watch it on IMAX. It’s more expensive, but very, very different from a normal theater. Especially if you are able to find an IMAX that has a dome-shaped screen. Here are some pictures from that night:

The night after that, I decided to have dinner with my roomie, Samantha, and high school friend, Ankita. Sam also brought some of her friends from Baruch as well as her boyfriend, Kevin, so it was quite a lively evening. We ate Malaysian food in Chinatown. Afterwards, we rode around in Kevin’s car and decided to stop by Union Turnpike to get some yummy crepes for dessert. Mmmmmmm they were excellent. Then we were all driven home. I know I’m not being very descriptive right now, but I believe my photos will write more words than I ever could:

And that’s it for tonight. Good night. Or should I say, good morning? >.>

Spontaniety.

One of my professors once said that Nature tends to like spontaneity. I think, I finally understand what that really means. I think myself, and my whole life tends to be in disarray and it likes to stay that way. It’s a lot easier for things to stay cluttered than to be organized.

Zettai Kareshi.

Wow. I just finished watching Zettai Kareshi, a japanese drama - and it has made me cry so much.

AHhhh it is soooo good. But so sad. T______________T

It’s not as sad as 1 litre of tears, but this was still mad depressing.

On a brighter note, I finally got my 80GB Zune Original in the mail! It was a pleasure to unwrap and as soon as I take pictures of it, I’ll post em’ up!

OMG, WALL E was AMAZING! :D I watched it with Davis and Patty and just got home from the theatre. I recommend everybody to watch this! I say this was better than ‘Wanted’ or anything else I’ve watched this year. :3 There wasn’t a lot of talking, but everything was conveyed perfectly through the fluid animation and beautiful music. Surprisingly, it was a pretty emotional movie - I even got tear-eyed near the end.

A boring post.

Forwarning: This post isn’t gonna be very interesting.

So yesterday, I studied and worked. It was really nice at work since it really helped to take me away from reality for a little while. My coworkers were being crazy and silly as usual. One of them, named Bill, started going psycho trying to kill a bug and did a little dance for us all and we all stared at him like he was insane, haha. =P This is his last week working with us though, since he’s going into the army. Good luck to him! We’re gonna miss his shananigens. Then, Konrad asked if I wanted to go see ‘Wanted’ after my shift. I wasn’t gonna say yes, but I realized since my shift was ending at 12:15 AM, I wouldn’t be doing anything at home anyhow. So I went with Darko, Konrad and his two brothers, Matt and Bart to see the 12:45 show. It ended around like 3:00 AM. But wow, it was so worth it. The movie was incredible. We kept wowing and laughing throughout the whole thing. Every scene was made to be very sarcastic, and totally physics-defying, so if you are into that whole matrix-like jig, you’ll be into this movie as well. Then again, when was the last time I watched anything bad with Angelina Jolie in it? Anywaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys….this will be the end of this boring post.
